Silver Buck marks six-year anniversary with appointment of first managing director
Silver Buck, the health tech communications agency, has promoted Matt Newby to the position of managing director – a new role for the leading specialist health tech PR and marketing agency as it sets its sights on its next period of growth.
He will lead the hybrid team’s operations and client services alongside existing directors and co-founders Sarah Bruce and Stephen Bryant.
Newby joined Silver Buck in June 2021 as an account director following five years with Servelec (acquired by Access Group in September 2021), a leading provider of digital health and care solutions, including two years as head of marketing. His previous sector experience also includes e-commerce and the public sector.
Commenting on his new position, Newby said: “I feel incredibly privileged to have been part of Silver Buck’s journey over the last three years. I’m proud to lead, what is in my opinion, the most talented and committed team of PR and comms professionals in health tech and digital health.
“In my role as account director I’ve worked with some fantastic clients who are creating digital solutions that improve the way health and care is delivered for everyone.
